At Georgia Act and Healthcare Services (GAHS), we understand that overcoming addiction is a challenging journey. Our Ambulatory Detox with Extended Services program provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals to detoxify from substances like opioids, benzodiazepines, and alcohol under medical supervision, in the comfort of their own homes.
Ambulatory detox, also known as outpatient detox, allows you to detoxify from addictive substances while living at home and attending daily check-ins at our facility. This approach is ideal for individuals with a strong support system at home and who meet specific criteria for safety and stability.
Medical supervision: Our program is overseen by qualified healthcare professionals who monitor your progress and provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
Flexibility and independence: You can maintain a sense of normalcy in your life while undergoing detox. This can be helpful for individuals who have work or family obligations.
Cost-effective: Ambulatory detox is typically less expensive than inpatient detox programs.
Comfort of home: Detoxing in a familiar environment can help reduce anxiety and stress associated with the withdrawal process.
Extended services: Our program goes beyond just detox. We offer additional support services to help you on your path to recovery, such as:
Individual and group therapy
Relapse prevention planning
Case management
Connection to aftercare programs
Ambulatory detox is not suitable for everyone. To determine if this program is right for you, a comprehensive assessment will be conducted to evaluate your individual needs and medical history.
